Obituary

Roger Micheal Timmons

Mike (Daddy, husband, Superman, Booger) born July 11, 1952 would like for everyone to know that his work on earth is complete as of February 18, 2018. He got the call, the one you can't refuse, for an appointment that he will not be returning from. This assignment comes with a gigantic bonus!! His reunion with family and friends he hasn't seen in a long time. His new mission takes him to the big lake in the sky where he can boat and fish all day long (or ride motorcycles if he wants). He left strict instructions with "his bride" and children to celebrate his life here on earth which has now been completed. Low adherence to this will not be tolerated.

We want to let him know he did a great job and wish him a safe journey. We will remember his, "Take a ride to the lake with me talks", his smiles, his superman like abilities, and his quiet way of leading (or not so quiet at times) his friends and family to the decisions we needed to make. He was a member of the IBEW for 35 plus years, a lineman (something he loved to do), Forman, then Forman of the yard. After hurricanes we will remember him hardly coming home to rest for fear something might happen to his men! He was Employee of the year in 2004 for putting off surgery due to a hurricane coming, then getting the surgery only to have another one hit and walking out of his surgery bed and straight back to work. We are grateful to have known him as a loyal friend and we knew we were lucky if he was by your side!! He made a difference in the lives of so many.

He is now reunited with his daughter Barbara Ann, hold her tight for us and kiss her cheeks, his mother and father, Roger and Oddlene Timmons, and his brothers Ray and Joey Timmons. He will be lovingly remembered by his bride, Barbara Jean, daughters Jennifer (Joshua) Archuletta, Alida (Robert) Floyd, nephews he thought of as sons, Robert (Sandy) Bryner, Mickey (Tracy) Bryner, sister Janie Hardy, 10 grandchildren, Zoe, Zackery, Lorelei, Heaven, Cody, Misty, Rebecca, Sierra, Samantha, and Izabella,  2 great grandchildren Jackson and Allen, his faithful four legged best friend Cinnamon, and niece Mary (Dale) Garcia, uncles, aunts, and cousins.
