Ron always enjoyed a variety of sports from hunting in his youth, to skiing, tennis and sailing. Ron's sailing exploits earned him the nickname of "Captain Ron." Ron was privileged to have opportunities to travel worldwide and always enjoyed exploring the finest cuisine wherever he went.

Son of deceased Harvey Danis and Annette Ferron, Ron is survived by his two brothers, Paul H. Danis Sr. and wife, Anita (Bachand) of Apollo Beach, Florida, and Norman R.
