Ronald Von Hagen, 83, of Fort Lauderdale, Florida, passed away Tuesday, January 13, 2015, at the Treasure Coast Hospice House in Fort Pierce, Florida.
Born January 22, 1931, in Hamilton, Ohio, he was the son of William and Augusta Steinmetz Von Hagen.
He served in the United States Army during the Korean War, in the Patton Tank Division, known as" Hell on Wheels".
He had been a resident of Fort Lauderdale for 42 years.
He is survived by his daughter Ann Smith, and her husband, Roger; two grandsons Rodney Smith , and his wife, Angela, and Todd Smith; three great- grandchildren Rosie and Riley Smith, and Ryan Dawson; one sister Marie Brunner; and many nieces, and nephews.
Ron was preceded in death by his parents, sisters, Wilma Kessler, Isabel Hinkel, Genevieve De Meyer, Rita Von Hagen, Dorothy Fisher, and Elvera Von Hagen, and brothers, Louis, and Herb Von Hagen.
Services & Interment will be private at the convenience of the family.
