Obituary

Russell E. Barrus, Sr., 74, of Kings Isle in Saint Lucie West, Florida, passed away on  Saturday, October 12, 2019, at his home.

Born in Worcester, Massachusetts, he had been a resident of Port Saint Lucie for fifteen years, coming from Cherry Hill, New Jersey.

Prior to retirement, he was a Delivery Driver for the United Parcel Service in their Lawnside, New Jersey location.

He honorably served his Country as a member of the United States Army, serving in Vietnam.

Russ was Vice-President of the of the Isle of Lombardy Homeowner's Association in Kings Isle.

He is survived by his beloved wife of twenty-five years, Gail Berger Barrus of Saint Lucie West; his daughter, Cathy Crouse of Hershey, Pennsylvania; his two sons, Russell E. Barrus, Jr., of Grantville, Pennsylvania and Edward Barrus and his wife, Christina of Chickadon, Alaska; and four grandchildren.

Graveside Services with Military Honors and Presentation of the Flag by the United States Military Honor Guard will be held at 1:30 pm, Monday, October 21st at 1:30 pm at the South Florida National Cemetery, 6501 South State Road #7, Lake Worth, Florida 33449. Please use Lane #5
