Obituary

Russell Hardy, 86, of Stuart passed away Saturday, March 12, 2016 at Treasure Coast Hospice in Stuart.
Born December 21, 1929 in Memphis, TN he was the son of John and Ida Mae (nee O'Daniel) Hardy. He moved to Stuart in 2012, coming from Kingwood, TX.

Russell retired as a jet mechanic and had worked for Pan American for 32 years and Continental Airlines for six years.

He served in the U. S. Marine Corps during the Korean Conflict Era.

Russell was a member of St. Luke Episcopal Church in Stuart.

He was a motorcycle enthusiast.

Survivors include his beloved children, Debra Gilman, Philip Hardy and Vera LaForce; loving grandchildren, Andy, Luke, Melissa, Jameson and Charles; and his cherished great grandchildren, Hanna, Camden, Gracie, Isabel and Lilly.

Russell was preceded in death by his sister, Leora Menna and brother, John Hardy, Jr.

Memorial Service will be held at 3 PM, Saturday, April 16, 2016 at St. Luke Episcopal Church, 5150 SE Railway Avenue, Stuart, FL 34997.
