Ruth Elizabeth Anderson, 92, of Stuart, Florida, died Thursday, April 16, 2015, at the Treasure Coast Hospice House in Stuart.
Born in Miami, Florida to Claus and Victoria Englund, she has been a resident of Stuart for the past eight years, and previously resided in West Palm Beach, Florida, and Atlanta, Georgia.
She was a member of Miami Lodge #554 of the Vasa Order of America, a Swedish American Fraternal Organization, where she served as Secretary, Vasa Star Correspondent, and Grand Lodge Deputy. She was also a member of Royal Palm Lodge #645 and locally attended the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Palm City.
A homemaker and mother, she is survived by her two daughters, Darlene A. Rogers, and her husband, James, of Palm City, and Denise Y. Asbell, of Atlanta; and her three grandchildren, Kristin Asbell Senn, Austin Asbell, and Ryan Rogers.
Ruth was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 44 years, J. Victor Anderson, and her son, Curtis Anderson.
She will be sadly missed by all who loved her.
Services and Interment will be private at the convenience of the family from the Treasure Coast Seawinds Funeral Home and Crematory of Stuart.
