Ryan Wesley Peters, 16, of Stuart, Florida, passed away suddenly on Wednesday evening, December 14, 2016, at Martin Memorial Hospital South from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident.

Born in Athens, Ohio, he had been a Florida resident for eight years coming from Ohio.

He was a member of the Junior Class at the Hobe Sound Christian Academy in Hobe Sound, Florida and was also a member of the National Honor Society and an avid automobile and motorcycle enthusiast.

Survivors include his devoted parents Brian and Tiffany Peters of Stuart; two brothers, Darin Peters and his wife, Bethany of Hobe Sound, and Brandon Peters of Stuart; one sister, Kimberli Peters of Stuart; his maternal grandparents, Carroll and Barbara Hickman of Jackson, Ohio; and his paternal grandparents, Gayle and Florence Peters of McArthur, Ohio.

A Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 18, 2016 from 5-7:00 pm at the Hobe Sound Bible Church, 11295 SE Gomez Avenue, Hobe Sound, Florida 33455, with a Celebration of His Life at 7:00 pm.

Services for family in Ohio will take place at the Mayhew Brown Funeral Home, 135 Broadway Street, Jackson, Ohio 45640 (please call for date and time 1-740-286-4161). Interment will follow at the Limerick Cemetery in Jackson.
