Sherry M. Cross, 76, of Stuart passed away Monday, September 26, 2016 at Treasure Coast Hospice in Stuart.
Born in Des Moines, Iowa she moved to Stuart in January 1979.
Sherry had worked as a bookkeeper as well as office manager while living on the Treasure Coast. She worked at Seacoast National Bank, Mariner Sands Golf Club and retired from Heritage Ridge.
She had attended Grace Place in Stuart.
Sherry loved to dance and had participated in programs for Fred Astaire Ballroom Dancers and at the Elks Lodge in Stuart. Before moving to Florida, she was a member of the Eastern Star.
Her favorite pastime, next to dancing, was shopping.
She is survived by her loving husband Ronald Eugene Mazzanti; beloved daughter, Courtney Feener (husband, Michael); step-children, Rhonda McGregor (husband, Bruce), Michael Mazzanti, James Mazzanti and William Mazzanti; cherished granddaughter, Haley; 22 step-grand and great grandchildren; brother, Lymon Eugene Liggett; and her aunt, Edna Smith.

Visitation will be 1 PM top 2:30 PM, Saturday, October 1, 2016 at Treasure Coast Seawinds Funeral Home Chapel with a Celebration of Life Service to begin at 2:30 PM.
