Sierra Leigh Rasmussen, 18, of Port St. Lucie, died suddenly, November 17th, 2014, in Kenansville, Florida, from injuries sustained in a car accident. She was born December 17, 1995 in Charlotte, North Carolina.

Affectionately, known as "Sis", she completed her high school education at IRSC and worked at Ocean Palms Retirement Center in Stuart, Florida. She was very full of life and enjoyed spending much of her time with young children, animals, friends and family. Her heart left it's mark on everyone around her.

Sierra was accompanied in death by her beloved dog, Rusty. She is survived by her parents Robert Rasmussen, and Kathryn and Tom McMillen, and the love of her life Zane Rech. She also leaves behind her brothers, Bailey Rasmussen, Chris McMillen and Tommy McMillen; and her sisters Madison King, Tiffiany Lapolla, Laura McMillen and sister at heart, Dallas Abdella . Sierra is also survived by maternal grandparents, James Morrow, Jae and Tom Crawford; and her paternal grandparents, Nicole Proctor, Tom and Pat Rasmussen, Herbert and Mary Hamond, several aunts, uncles, cousins and countless friends.

A Memorial and Celebration of Her Life will be held on Sunday, November 23, 2014 starting at 10:00 am in the Chapel of the Treasure Coast Seawinds Funeral Home & Crematory, 950 SE Monterey Road, Stuart, Florida 34994.
