Sigrid Hullett (nee Drahoss), 72 , of Fort Pierce, Florida, passed away on Tuesday, November 29, 2016, peacefully, while in the care of family and Hospice of The Treasure Coast.
She was born on March 24, 1944 in Schauren, Germany and moved to Fort Pierce, Florida, in 1962.
She taught at Christian Military Academy and was also an owner/operator of her private daycare center until she retired in 2016. She was revered by her students and their parents who lovingly knew her as "Miss Sigi".
She was preceded in death by her husband, Sonny Hullett.
Sigrid is survived by her four children, Davy Burney, Jennifer Lyons, Mitchel Burney, and Michael Burney, who provided her with 13 grandchildren and 13 great-grand children.
Her life will be celebrated privately among family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, contributions as a memorial may be made to the Treasure Coast Hospice, 5000 Dunn Road, Fort Pierce, Florida 34981 or to savethechimps.org
