Steven D. Jeiven, 60, of Hobe Sound passed away Saturday, August 13, 2016 at his residence with his family by his side.
Born July 12, 1956 in Elizabeth, NJ he was the son of Martin and Sandra Jeiven. He moved to the Treasure Coast in the late 1970's coming from New Jersey.
Steve was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He enjoyed music, especially rock n roll and riding his motorcycle B. C. (before children). He belonged to the Stuart Shooting Center and VFW Post 10132 in Hobe Sound.
Steve is survived by his loving wife of 29 years, Janice; beloved children, Kimberly (Sean) Eck and Kevin (Melissa) Jeiven; cherished grandchildren, Avery and Caleb; and brother, Martin (Helene) Jeiven.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
A Celebration of Steve's Life will begin with a service at 2 PM, Saturday, August 20, 2016 at Treasure Coast Seawinds Funeral Home with a gathering of family and friends to follow until 5 PM. Requested attire for the service is jeans and your favorite rock n roll t-shirt to help honor Steve's passion for music.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Steve's name may be made to an Adoption Fund at Humane Society of the Treasure Coast, 4100 SW Leighton Farm Avenue, Palm City, FL 34990.
