Steven Alfred Tarrant, 52, of Port Saint Lucie, Florida passed away suddenly on Monday, October 3, 2016 at his home, a day after his 52nd birthday.

Affectionately known as "Steve", he was born in Florissant, Missouri, and had been a resident of Florida for more than thirty years.

Steve was the beloved father of Michelle Nicole Tarrant (Ricky) and Dylan John Tarrant (Courtney); treasured son of Bob D. and Judith A. Tarrant (nee Layes); loving brother of Bob D. Tarrant, Jr. (Barb) and Karen M. Kolditz (Dan); adored grandfather of Skylar Ann Woodman; caring uncle of Derrick L. Tarrant, Evan W. Tarrant, Jessica M. Kolditz and Daniel P. Kolditz, Jr.; former husband and friend to Carmen; and best friend to his canine companion, Max. He was also a nephew, cousin, friend to many, and a son in Christ Jesus.

He was a loving son, a good brother and the best father he could be. He had a big heart for others. He will be greatly missed.

A Service to Celebrate His Life will be held at a later date in Missouri.
