Susan E. Nickerson, 59, of Stuart passed away March 11, 2016 at her home.

She was born August 25, 1956 in Maryland and moved to Stuart in 1981, coming from Washington, D.C.

Susan was a legal secretary and most recently worked for Law Office of Larry Stewart and formerly with Warner, Fox, Seeley and Dungey.

Survivors include her daughter, Laura Mulholland of Port St. Lucie; grandchildren, Austin 17, Alexis 12, Stephanie 18 and Cody 21; and sister, Betty Block.

Susan was preceded in death by her husband, James P. Nickerson.

There will be a "Celebration of Life" Memorial held at the North end of Stuart Beach located at NE Plantation Rd.; Stuart, FL 34996 from 5:30p.m. to 7:30p.m. on Wednesday, March 23, 2016.
