On Monday, August 27, 2018, Thomas O'Leary, loving patriarch of our family passed away at the age of 86. He was born in New York on April 5, 1932 to Anna and Edward and had two sisters, Ann and Frances.

He lived most of his life on Long Island with time spent in the Catskill Mountain town of Walton. He was a corporal in the Army in the early 1950's. He married Gloria Cairo on October 21, 1956, and they raised three children; Deborah, Thomas, and Kenneth. He was further blessed with 8 grandsons and 5 great-grandsons.

Tom was a kind, giving and soft spoken family man who was always ready to lend a hand. He was a talented craftsman who could build or repair almost anything. As the son of a mechanic he also had a passion for cars. In 1993, not long after the passing of his wife, he moved to Stuart, Florida, where he enjoyed the Florida lifestyle with family members always close by to share the love and laughter.

He is survived by his devoted family that will always keep him in their hearts.

There will be a memorial service in New York at a later date.
