Tommy Dell, 82 of Youngstown, OH, Miami, FL, Christiansted, St. Croix, USVI, Hog Island, Granada and Stuart, FL passed away his home in Stuart on March 24, 2017.

Tommy is preceded in death by his parents Ralph and Nellie, and by his life partner, soul mate and first mate, Carolyn North. He is survived by his sister, Barbara Garner of West Plains, MO.

Tommy served in the US Army and worked for many years as an auto mechanic. Avid travelers, Tommy and Carolyn spent many years aboard their sailboats, "Cruising Lady" and "Island Dove" before touring the USA, Mexico and Canada in their Roadtrek Van.

Tommy was always ready to help his friends and neighbors with a smile, a laugh, and a glass of rum when the job was done. He will be greatly missed by all his sailing friends and the Leisure Village community where he was active with Bocce, shuffle and euchre teams.

Tommy will receive a burial at sea with honors from the US Navy on a future date.
