Thomas C. Wall, 81, of Port St. Lucie, Florida, formerly of Philadelphia, PA passed away on July 5, 2018 from Pancreatic Cancer.   Tom was relentless in his battle with cancer displaying courage and strength at each obstacle.   Faith sustained him throughout each crisis and courage carried him through every struggle.   He was accepting to his fate and turned to scriptures not medical protocol to sustain each dilemma.   His humor helped those around him to accept and respect the decisions he chose.

He was a friend to those who would become family around him….he fulfilled promises that had been made in health and his disease would not allow him to falter from commitments previously made….so while his pain continued, he continued to ease distress of others and lift their spirits….

While physically declining, his spiritual convictions soared…he lead us to grateful hand holding prayer before a meal….he could quote scriptures and would find healing sources to comfort the sadness of others around him…his love for the dogs in his life was unconditional as was their love for him…he was truly blessed.

He is survived by his wife, Valerie (Heinrich); three daughters, Donna Varso, Orange County, CA, Sherry Depew, Philadelphia, PA; Barbara Emerick, Nampa, ID; two stepdaughters, Tina Kolongowski and Lori Kolongowski both of Philadelphia, PA; eight grandchildren, Eddie, Trevor Andrew Varso of California; Crystal Erickson of Boise, ID and Kenny Trumble of Eclectic, AL, Brett Cook, Melissa Cook and Heather Cook of Philadelphia, PA; eight great grandchildren, Jeremy, Danika and Paisley Varso, Brody, Fletcher and Tess Erickson, Paige and Alyssa Trumble.  He did love ALL of his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

He is survived by siblings, Virginia Key of Winter Haven and Herbert Wall of Madison, GA.

Tom was preceded in death by Ambrose (Bud) Wall, Margaret (Margie) Andre' and Walter Wall.

He was an avid fisherman, taxidermist and butcher.   He enjoyed fishing and loved his two dogs, Budd and Murphy, always at his side.

He deeply cherished reading and studying the Bible daily:   He prayed fervently to Jehovah God, especially when he became ill.

Memorial Service will be held at 3 PM, Saturday, July 21, 2018 at the Jehovah's Witnesses Kingdom Hall, 1302 SW California Blvd., Port St. Lucie, FL 34953.
