Victor Mendez, Jr.,  40 years young unexpectedly passed away on December 11, 2020  in Port Saint Lucie, Florida.

Victor was born in Brooklyn, New York on January 2, 1980. Starting his education at Hope Rural School in Indiantown, Florida; Victor proudly went through the Martin County School system and graduated MCHS 1998 before entering the US Army. American Concrete in Fort Pierce, Florida was his work home for the past 4 years. At the time of Victor's passing, he was a dedicated trade worker on the Treasure Coast, serving many wonderful companies and enjoying the journey of meeting new people at each of his workplace experiences.

Victor is only preceded in death by his grandparents in the Bentel, Regan, and Tosado families. Victor is survived by his partner of 20 years, Teresa Garza and their twin boys, Victor Manuel Mendez and Alexander Jacob Mendez. Victor also is survived by his daughter Giselle Marie Mendez. Along with the beautiful family he made, he is survived by a loving mother Maria delCarmen Bentel,a dad Mark Bentel, and three sisters Denise Brodie, Debra Joy George and Dayna Jean Bentel. Victor is also survived by a family of uncles, aunts, nieces, and nephews who will miss him dearly.

Funeral services will be held Thursday December 17, 2020  from 2-5 pm at Treasure Coast Seawinds Funeral Home and Crematory, 950 SE Monterey Road, Stuart, Florida.Viewing is limited to 50 people max at a time to accommodate social distancing within the space; face masks required, temperatures will be taken and sanitizer will be available.

Victor will be cremated and future arrangements will be made to spread his ashes around the community he loved to live in, and the world he had hoped to see (1st Stop is the home of the Phoenix Suns!!).
