Viola Hopson (Seduski), our beloved mother, cherished grandmother, great grandmother and friend to many, passed away peacefully on February 14, 2025, in Stuart, Florida, with her three children at her side.

Vi was born on September 5, 1932, in Watervliet, New York and spent much of her adult life in the Albany, New York area, living in Watervliet, Latham and Clifton Park. In 2003, she and her partner, Larry Nadler, found an incredible community in Florida and moved to Vista Pines in Stuart Florida. There, they made very special friendships that continue today. They enjoyed dancing, karaoke, bingo, water aerobics and numerous weekly social events with their many friends at Vista Pines. She loved life and she deeply loved her friends at Vista Pines.

Vi is preceded in death by her parents, William and Nellie Seduski; her brother William Seduski; her brother Stephen Seduski; her sister Cecile Franklin; and her partner, Larry Nadler. She is survived by her daughter, Mary Jane (Pino) and her son-in-law Rick Pino of New Bern, North Carolina; her son Brad Hopson and daughter-in-law Eileen Hopson of Dallas, Texas; and her son John Hopson of Denver, Colorado. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren and 9 greatgrandchildren.

A private service was held for Viola at Treasure Coast Seawinds Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, please find the link below to Plant a Tree in her honor. She was a tree lover, and this would honor her love for nature and life.

Viola Hopson lived a great life, filled with love and laughter and friendships. Her spirit will forever remain in the hearts of those she touched. Rest in peace, our beloved Viola – you will be missed.
