Walden J. (Wally) Lewis of Hobe Sound, FL passed away on April 17, 2026. 

He was born January 1, 1936 in Squantum, MA, a son of the late Walden and Ann Lewis. Prior to moving to Florida he lived in Phoenixville, PA for over 30 years. Walden was the President of Neatsfoot Oil Co. Prior to this he worked for Sherwin Williams. 

He is a Navy veteran, having served overseas in Morrocco and other assignments. He enjoyed golfing, gardening, and his volunteer work with Habitat for Humanity, St. Christopher’s Catholic Church, and local soup kitchens. 

Survivors include his children Judith (Daniel) Gulotta of Springfield, VA and Stephen Lewis of Stuart, FL and his son Rett. He was preceded in death by his sisters Francis Lewis, Ann Ferguson, and Dorothy Kenney. Besides his parents and siblings, he was preceded in death by his wife Lois E. (Potter) Lewis, with whom he had a long and happy marriage of 60 years.

 In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
