Wallace Ray Reed, 81 years young, passed away on Monday,  December 16, 2019, at the Treasure Coast Hospice near his home on South Hutchinson Island, Florida.

Wallace was born in Palmersville, Tennessee on June 11, 1938, to Elvern and Janie Reed. Shortly after his high school graduation, he moved to St. Louis. Missouri to start his career. While working, Wallace, better known as Wally to his family and friends, put himself through college at Washington University in St. Louis. He went on to have an extremely successful career in transportation logistics and eventually started his own business in New Jersey of Accord Transportation where he was the owner/operator for more than 35 years.

Wally was a beloved husband and father and a man of many friends. He lit up the room with his smile and encouraged everyone around him to live life to the fullest and have fun. He was a skilled skier, a great entertainer, and an avid sports fan. He loved the St. Louis Cardinals, New York Giants and the Tennessee Volunteers.

Wally is survived by his wife, Donna; his children, Debbie, Donna, Walann, Brandon, Josh, and Heather; his five grandchildren; his great-grandson; his sister, Anne and his brother, Kemp. He will be greatly missed by friends, family and all who knew him.

Wally wished for everyone to remember him at his best, and therefore no services will be held. In lieu of flowers, contributions as a memorial may be made to the Treasure Coast Hospice, 1201 SE Indian Street, Stuart, Florida 34997 and would be appreciated.
