Wanda Nelson, 89 died Saturday March 23, 2013 in Jensen Beach, FL. She was born on the family farm in Manitou Beach, MI to the late Ward and Bertha (King) Poffenberger. She formally lived in Ann Arbor and Wayne MI. A graduate of Adrian College and Eastern Michigan University, she taught Home Economics for 33 years, retiring in 1987. She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Philip Nelson of Jensen Beach, Fl; son, Thomas B.Nelson and his wife, Lisa Onady of Yardley, PA; daughter, Lisa C. Nelson of Jupiter, FL and several nieces and nephews. A family memorial will be held at a later date.
