Wayne Manuel, 87, a man of total integrity passed away January 14, 2018 at home.
Born July 7, 1930 in Beaver Falls, PA he moved to Hobe Sound in 2001 coming from New Brighton.
He served in the U. S. Army during the Korean Conflict and received the Occupation Medal of Germany.
Wayne was a machinist and retired from Babcock and Wilcox and he had belonged to the United Steelworkers.
He was a Methodist and former member of Beaver County Rock and Mineral Society.
Wayne was known for his wood crafting. He made jewelry boxes and wooden puzzles.
It was Wayne's nature to be a caregiver for family members and neighbors. He always thought of others, even when his health began to decline.
Survivors include his wife, Tove I. Manuel; daughter, Denny Jo Reed; step-son, Eric Sullivan; and sister, Betty Steffen.
Wayne was preceded in death by his parents, his first wife, Barbara and daughter, Debbie.
