William "Pete" Banning, 90, of Palm City, entered into eternal life on Wednesday, October 10, 2018. Born October 25, 1927 to William and Irene Banning in Greenville, Illinois.

Pete later moved to Florida and was married to Jeannette Pfeiffer and they had a daughter Jill. Pete then married Helen Powers to whom he was married for 15 years until her death in 1994.
Pete retired from Pratt & Whitney and was a military veteran serving in the Navy. He loved the game of golf. A line dancing class brought Pete to meet Edith Poston. They were married for 19 years until Edith's death in 2015.

Pete leaves behind a daughter Jill (Neil) Harris; step children Jett (Sharon) Powers, Drew (Lissa) Poston, Dale (Karen) Poston, Dean (Caron) Poston, Becky (Chris) Crook. Pete was blessed with 10 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

Services will be held on Saturday, November 10, 2018 at 1:00 pm in the Chapel of the Treasure Coast Seawinds Funeral Home and Crematory, 950 SE Monterey Road, Stuart, Florida.
