December 30, 1931 - June 12, 2016

William R. "Bill" Gaw, 84, of Port Saint Lucie, Florida, passed away Sunday, June 12, 2016, at home surrounded by family. Bill was a native of Cleveland, Ohio, and spent the last thirty-nine years in Saint Lucie County, Florida.

Upon his arrival from Ohio he opened and operated Bills Gaw's Air Conditioning. He was a residential and commercial AC/Heat Contractor, a sheet metal fabricator, and a Hunting and Fishing store owner. He owned a car lot in his early years then later in retirement he opened a motor cycle parts shop.

He honorably served his country in the United States Marines. He was a former member of the Royal Order of Moose, the Elks, and the American Legion. Bill had varied interests such as car and motor cycles, he also loved to fish, but most of all enjoyed the fleas markets and trading and selling guns.

Bill is survived by his beloved wife, Peggy Gaw; three sons, William Gaw and his wife Robin, Lee Jay Gaw, and David Carucci and his wife, Karin; two daughters, Suzanne G. Morine and her husband, Chris, and Donna Carucci; nine grandchildren, Lee and Cory Gaw, Jonathan Platts, Kara and Madizen Morine, Melanie and Natalie Carucci, Ty and Brooke Nunziato; and four great-grandchildren, Cory, Paisley and Lucas Gaw, Levi Platts

He was preceded in death by his mother, Gladys Clucker; father, Raymond Gaw; brother, Charles Gaw; son, David Gaw; and daughter, Denise Carucci.

Per Bill's request their will not be a service.

The Family requests contributions as a memorial be made to the Treasure Coast Hospice, 5000 Dunn Road, Fort Pierce, Florida 34981.
