William Rhea Bishop, 82, of Palm City, Florida, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, January 26, 2019.  Born in Barren County, Kentucky, on November 8, 1936  to the late Lencoy and Lera Ethel Furlong Bishop.

He was a graduate of Glasgow High School Class of 1956 and honorably served his country as a member of the United States Air Force.

He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Sue Ann McClintock Bishop.

William leaves behind his brothers, David and his wife, Judy of Port Saint Lucie, Florida, and Carroll Wayne Bishop of Stuart, Florida, and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Janice Faye Bishop Burchard.

William loved life and the outdoors.  He and his wife camped in all 50 states and rode many steam locomotives together.

As per his wishes, he will be cremated with no services scheduled.
