William "Tom" Thomas Fitzmorris, 85 of Hobe Sound passed away December 8, 2016 at Treasure Coast Hospice in Stuart.
Born in Buffalo, NY, he was the son of William M. and Grace Ann (Gallagher) Fitzmorris. Tom has resided in Hobe Sound for 20 years, coming from Rochester, PA.
He was an Army veteran of the Korean War and received the Korean Service Medal with one bronze service star; Presidential Unit Citation ROK; United Nations Service Medal and National Defense Service Medal.
Tom worked over 40 years in the airline industry that he loved, including Capital, United and Allegheny before retiring from US Air in 1997.
He was a member of Hall-Bryan VFW Post 10132 in Hobe Sound.
Survivors include his beloved wife of 57 years, Marnie; loving children, Shawn Thomas Fitzmorris and wife Maria, Molly Daugherty Fitzmorris and Coreen Kelly Fitzmorris-Ulibarri; cherished grandsons, Alec Ulibarri, Ryan Fitzmorris and Samuel Fitzmorris; and sister, Gerry Carrera and husband David.

A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, January 23, 2017 at 10:00 am at the Stuart Congregational Church, 3110 SE Astor Lane in Stuart followed at 11:00 am by a Celebration of Life at Lost Lake Golf Club in Hobe Sound.
