William E. Holwell, 70, died Saturday, March 21, 2015, at his home in Hobe Sound, Florida,

Born in Chicago, Illinois, he had been a resident of Hobe Sound for the last eight years after moving from Chicago.

Prior to his retirement, Bill was a Glazier, working for the Glaziers, Architectural Metal Glass Worker, Local Union #27, Chicago and Vicinity and the International Brotherhood of Painters and Allied Trades.

He honorably served his country, as a member of the United States Navy, and was a member of the Amvets Post #14 in Hobe Sound.

Survivors include the love of his life, Cindy Adams, of Hobe Sound; two daughters, Angela Holwell, of Boynton Beach, Florida, and Amanda Holwell, of Palos Hills, Illinois; his mother, Margaret Holwell, of Payson, Arizona; one brother, Vincent Holwell, of St. Paul, Minnesota; one sister, Susan Daniels, of Payson, Arizona; two grandchildren, Dillon, and August; RuthAnn Holwell, sister-in-law and many nieces and nephews, especially Laura, Bethany, Christopher, and Danny along with Cindy's side of the family, Celeste & Joe, Aimee & Larry, Jeremy, Eric, Ian, Kevin and Amber.

He was preceded in death by his father, Joseph Holwell, and his two brothers, Joseph and Robert Holwell.

He had a zest for life surpassed by none; loved hunting, and most importantly FISHING! Bill loved nothing better than to be on his boat and watch the sunrise on his way out the Jupiter Inlet to go fishing for the day and watch the sunset on his way home. He was a friend to many and loved by all who knew him well. He will be missed.

Services and Interment will be private at the request of the family from the Treasure Coast Seawinds Funeral Home and Crematory of Stuart, Florida.
