William Merrill Jackson, 55 of Hobe Sound, FL passed away December 22, 2016 at Martin Memorial Hospital South in Stuart.
Born April 25, 1961 in Miami, FL he was the son of James Watts and Peggy Joyce (Frazier) Jackson. He moved to Hobe Sound 11 years ago coming from Ft. Lauderdale.
Bill had worked for South Atlantic cable and also as a server/ bartender at Flannigan's for 10 years.
He enjoyed supporting and watching his daughters, Linzie playing softball and Morgan cheerleading.
His hobbies included fantasy football and baseball. He liked the Miami sports teams, Hurricanes, Dolphins and Marlins. Bill was also an NHRA fan, often attending Gator Nationals in Gainesville. He bowled in several leagues in South Florida when he lived there.
Survivors include his beloved daughters, Linzie High and Morgan Jackson; loving mother, Peggy Jackson Scefcyk; father, James Jackson and his wife, Jean; sisters, Lori Spadavecchia and husband, Mario and Shari Lynn Raymond and husband, Eugene "Butch"; the mother of his children, Andrea High; step sisters, Cindy Rhude, Barbie Wiley, Connie Wiley; aunts, Linda Negron and husband, James and Debbie Frazier; niece, Samantha; nephews, Lake, Anthony, and Mario, Jr.; several great nieces and nephews.
A Gathering of Family and Friends will be 10 AM to 11 AM, January 14, 2017 at Treasure Coast Seawinds Funeral Home in Stuart followed by a Celebration of Life Service at 11 AM.
