William T. McFarland, 94 years of age, of Brown City, Michigan, passed away on April 11, 2021 at the Tradition Hospital in Port St. Lucie, Florida.

He was born in Centerline, MI and had resided in Sterling Heights for many years till he retired from Heating and Cooling and had been a member of the Sheet Metal Local 80 Credit Union for over 50 years.

When he retired to the country, that is where he designed and had built his dream home on 10 acres in Brown City, MI.

He served in the US Navy in WWII from 1944-1946 as part of the Carrier Aircraft Service Unit 21 (CASU21).

He loved to fly, build model airplanes, bird houses and raising his family. Playing the guitar or banjo, going dancing, listening to live music was something he really enjoyed.

He was the last of his McFarland Clan

He is preceded in death by his wife Dollie E. McFarland in 2006

Survivors include his children, sons Greg McFarland/Cecilia, Kevin McFarland, and daughter Alicia Smiecinski. Along with Nine grandchildren and Ten great-grandchildren.

He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. Loved his family with all his heart, was loved by all and will truly be missed.
