William L Moyer age 71, passed away  peacefully at his home in Palm City, Florida.

Bill waged a mighty battle with cancer for five years.

He was born in South Bend, Indiana to Paul G Moyer and Marie A Moyer (nee Lauden).

He was preceded in death by his parents, Paul G Moyer and Marie A. Moyer, of Orlando Florida.

Bill is survived by his wife, Barbara A Moyer (Wiley) of Palm City; his daughter, Nicole M Stanton and her husband, William of Casselberry, Florida;  his son Paul R Moyer and his wife,Tamara of Palm City; and his beloved grandchildren, William D Stanton and Josephine M. Stanton of Casselberry. Also survived by his brother, Robert P. Moyer of Virginia Beach, Virginia.

Bill graduated from Boone High School in Orlando in 1967. He was an Eagle Scout of Troop #40 in Orlando and was an avid water skier.

He honorably served his country as a member of the United States Navy

Bill was employed by Winn Dixie Stores for 35 years.

On February 20, 2021, Bill and Barbara celebrated their 50th Wedding Anniversary, with family and friends.

Bill could be seen driving around in his jeep, with the top down in all kinds of weather. He loved being around his grandchildren Will and Josie, especially in the pool. Josie remembers him as the cookie monster, as she baked the cookies he would steal them, with a smile.

Bill would always be ready to lend a hand, if you needed help. Bill will be missed by his family and friends.

A private family burial is planned in Florida. A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date.

In lieu of flowers contributions as a memorial may be made to the Renegade Paws Rescue, 1914 East 63 ^rd Street Savannah, Georgia or to the Treasure Coast Hospice, 1201 SE Indian Street, Stuart, Florida 34997.
