William Porter Pridgen's Obituary
William Porter Pridgen, Jr.
Age 84, of Stuart, FL, died December 24, 2012 in a local nursing home in Stuart. Born in Tampa, FL, he had been a resident of Stuart since 1979, coming from Fort Lauderdale, FL. Prior to retirement, he was the owner of Sun & Fun Pool & Patio in Stuart and spent many years in the retail clothing business. He was a member of the Martin County Golf & Country Club and attended the All Saints Episcopal Church.
Survivors include his three sons:, Blake Pridgen of Corpus Christi, TX, Wade Pridgen of Port St. Lucie, FL and Lance Pridgen of Port St. Lucie, FL; and three grandchildren and one step-granddaughter. He was preceded by his wife, Lois Pridgen, and one brother.
The family suggests memorials be made to the Hospice Foundation, C/o Treasure Coast Hospice, 1201 Indian Street, Stuart, FL 34997 to those who desire.
