William Terry Wagner of Hobe Sound, Florida passed away on Thursday, November 24, 2016, at age 82. He was the loving husband and friend of his late wife, Thelma Wagner, for the past 59 years. Thelma died April 22, 2016.
Born September 7, 1934 in Rouzerville, Pennsylvania, he was the son of the late William K. and Estelle Winifred (Fox) Wagner. Terry graduated from Washington Township High School in 1953 and Gettysburg College in 1957 with a BA in Business Administration. Also in 1957 post-graduation, he was commissioned as a 2nd Lt. Officer in the USAF Reserve, accepted a job from Bell Telephone of Pennsylvania and most importantly married Thelma on October 12, 1957. Terry worked for Bell, Bell Atlantic and AT&T his entire career in various management-level positions, ultimately retiring with Thelma in 1989, after 32-1/2 years of service.
Terry was a wonderful, loving husband and father to his three sons and grandfather to his one grandson. He is survived by sons, Mark of Boynton Beach, Florida, Brad of New York, New York, and David of Davie, Florida; his grandson, Xavi of Davie; and his sister, Pamela Wagner, Waynesboro, Pennsylvania.
Terry was a member of the Presbyterian Church.
A Memorial Service for him was held on December 2nd at the Hobe Sound Community Presbyterian Church.
