Obituary

William Marshall Wexler, M.D., age 82 of Sewalls Point, Florida passed away on February 14, 2021 after a brief illness in Stuart, Florida.  Dr. Wexler had been a resident at Discovery Village of Stuart for the past year.   Dr. Wexler was born in New Haven, Connecticut, attended Harvard College and Yale Medical School. He practiced Otolaryngology  in RI in private practice and at the VA Medical Center in Providence, RI.  He was a Captain in the Army during the Korean conflict. He retired to Florida in 2010, and settled on the treasure coast. He became a naturalist, a birder, and volunteered at the Manatee Center for several years.

Dr. Wexler was predeceased by his parents Isadore L. and Leanor D (Lipscher) We let and his brother, Harry J. Wexler  of New Haven, Ct.
He is survived by his wife, Carolyn Aurelio Wexler, his sister, Ruth Wexler of Cambridge, MA, his step-son, Robert Sheldon of Hope Valley, RI, his grand daughter, Amanda Sheldon and his grandson, Christopher Sheldon, both residents of Florida.
